Oikos exists to stimulate and support radical innovation among leaders and their organisations in service of a sustainable future.

Oikos – the Greek word at the root of ‘eco’ in both economics and ecology – is a uniquely integrative enterprise, bringing together:-

• sustainability strategies & sensibilities – from 18 years’ experience in the fields of sustainability, environmental change, holistic health and corporate social responsibility: and
• business change and leadership development expertise – from 13 years’ working as a change consultant and coach at senior levels across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
  

• the global – i.e. through an ability to consider the macro-environment, multiple stakeholders and complex, cross-cutting themes at a conceptual level; and
• the personal – i.e. via expertise that enables transformational work with individuals, building the leadership capacities required – including emotional and spiritual intelligence - to face and process the immense challenges of our time.

Ultimately, the challenge of sustainable development requires an ‘expansion of consciousness’ in leaders everywhere, whether in formal roles or not – and then the courage to act from that expanded place. Oikos is focused on delivering – and modelling - precisely that.
